International Yoga Day, also known as World Yoga Day, is a remarkable global event celebrated annually on June 21st. It serves as a powerful reminder of the incredible benefits that practicing yoga brings to our lives, inspiring people of all ages and backgrounds to embrace this holistic approach to health. The history of yoga dates back thousands of years to ancient India. It originated as a spiritual practice and philosophical system, evolving over time to incorporate physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques. Yoga's significance lies in its holistic approach to well-being, addressing the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual. It promotes balance, flexibility, strength, and relaxation in the body, while also nurturing clarity, mindfulness, and inner peace in the mind. Yoga is renowned for its ability to reduce stress, increase self-awareness, improve overall health, and cultivate a deeper connection with oneself and others. Today, yoga is practiced worldwide and embraced by people from various cultures and backgrounds as a means to enhance physical fitness, promote mental well-being, and seek a more harmonious and fulfilling life. Under the guidance of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in India, International Yoga Day has gained immense prominence. The government has played a pivotal role in promoting yoga as a national and international event, recognizing its significance in achieving overall well-being. Thanks to their efforts, Yoga Day has garnered global recognition and popularity. International Yoga Day History and Significance In his speech at the United Nations in 2014, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested the idea of having a yearly Day of Yoga on June 21. This date holds significance as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and is celebrated in various parts of the world. The UN adopted a resolution titled "Day of Yoga" in 2014 after discussions led by the Indian delegation. To commemorate the International Day of Yoga, the Reserve Bank of India released a 10-rupee coin in 2015. Additionally, in April 2017, the UN Postal Administration (UNPA) issued a sheet of 10 stamps featuring different yoga poses, known as Asanas, in honor of the International Day of Yoga. On December 11, 2014, Asoke Mukherji, India's Permanent Representative, presented a draft resolution to the United Nations General Assembly. The proposed text gained wide support, with 177 Member States sponsoring and endorsing it, resulting in its adoption without a vote. This initiative garnered the backing of numerous global leaders, making it the UNGA resolution with the highest number of co-sponsors ever. After the UN resolution was adopted, influential figures in India's spiritual movement expressed their support for the initiative. Sadhguru, the founder of the Isha Foundation, described it as a significant milestone for promoting the scientific approach to enhancing human well-being on a global scale. He stated, "This could be a kind of foundation stone to make a scientific approach to the inner well-being of the human being a worldwide thing... It's a tremendous step for the world." Ravi Shankar, the founder of the Art of Living, applauded Prime Minister Modi's efforts and emphasized the importance of official recognition by the UN, as it would enable yoga to benefit the entire world. He noted, "It is very difficult for any philosophy, religion, or culture to survive without state patronage. Yoga has existed so far almost like an orphan. Now, official recognition by the UN would further spread the benefit of yoga to the entire world." Why International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June? The choice of June 21st as Yoga Day holds special significance. This date corresponds to the summer solstice, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and the shortest day in the Southern Hemisphere. In Indian calendars, the summer solstice marks the transition to Dakshinayana, and the second full moon after this solstice is known as Guru Poornima. It is believed that on this day, Lord Shiva, the first yogi, imparted the knowledge of yoga to humanity, becoming the first guru (teacher). Iconic Achievement of Yoga Day The first International Day of Yoga was celebrated worldwide on June 21, 2015, marking a historic milestone. In India, the Ministry of AYUSH made extensive arrangements, and a staggering 35,985 people, including Prime Minister Modi and dignitaries from 84 nations, participated in a yoga session of 21 asanas for 35 minutes at Rajpath in New Delhi. This monumental event not only set a record for the largest yoga class but also showcased global enthusiasm for this ancient practice. Since then, Yoga Day has been celebrated every year with great enthusiasm. Record-breaking yoga sessions have been organized, such as India set a Guinness World Record in 2017 with over 54,000 participants in a single venue. The dedication of yoga enthusiasts worldwide to surpass previous records highlights the universal passion for this transformative practice. Traditions of the Day International Yoga Day is celebrated in various ways around the world. From large-scale public yoga sessions in parks and stadiums to private gatherings in homes, the day offers a platform for individuals to come together and practice yoga. People engage in different yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques, nurturing a sense of inner peace and self-awareness. Yoga Day Logo Significance The logo of the International Day of Yoga (IDY) incorporates meaningful symbolism to represent the essence of yoga. It features folded hands, symbolizing the union that yoga embodies—the merging of individual consciousness with the universal consciousness, fostering harmony between the mind and body and establishing a holistic approach to health and well-being. The logo includes various elements: brown leaves representing the Earth element, green leaves representing nature, blue representing the Water element, brightness signifying the Fire element, and the Sun symbolizing the source of energy and inspiration. The overall design of the logo signifies harmony and peace for all of humanity, encapsulating the true essence of yoga. On April 29, 2015, India's External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, and Union Minister of State for AYUSH, Shripad Yesso Naik, unveiled the IDY logo. The logo was created by an 18-member team from 'Panchtatva Advertising' based in New Delhi. To encourage widespread participation, ideas were also welcomed from diverse sections of society. Prime Minister Modi ultimately approved the logo selected by the AYUSH department for IDY. This logo encompasses all the essential elements that convey the true meaning of yoga—the union of individual consciousness with universal consciousness. The colors and symbolism of the logo reflect the fundamental principles of ancient yogic knowledge. Let's explore its meaning further: White Background: The logo is placed on a white background, representing universal consciousness. It signifies that yoga practices unite us with the universal consciousness. Joining Hands: The human art with joined hands represents harmony between the mind, body, and soul. Two Pairs of Leaves: The brown leaves represent Earth, while the green leaves represent nature. This symbolizes how yoga helps us stay grounded. Globe Behind Human Art: The globe symbolizes unity and oneness among people across the world. Words in Logo: The words "yoga for harmony and peace" express the true purpose of yoga and why yoga masters have spread it in the West. The theme for 2023 is "Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam." • Orange Aura Meaning: Exploring its Symbolism and Significance

An aura refers to the invisible energy field surrounding your physical body, and its color is influenced by your personality, emotions, and life experiences. Understanding the orange aura's meaning can provide valuable insights into your inner self, including your personality, the energy you emit, and your mental state. Individuals surrounded by an orange aura are known to be adventurous, risk-taking, and highly inspiring. What Causes an Orange Aura? The colour of your aura is not static but is rather influenced by your personality, mood, and experiences at any given moment. While the colours in your aura may change rapidly with your mood, most individuals have a predominant shade in their aura. Those with orange auras are often natural adventurers, emanating passionate and creative energy that adds excitement and inspiration to everything they do. While some people naturally possess an orange aura due to their inherent personality traits, others may have small traces of orange that become more prominent depending on their mood. An orange aura may manifest when individuals are in tune with their physical bodies, feeling inspired, creative, and passionate. Personality Traits of an Orange Aura We all likely know someone with an orange aura, as they are individuals who rarely turn down new thrills and are always up for challenges. Orange auras represent the perfect blend of passionate red and playful yellow energies. Individuals with orange auras are positive, adventurous, and exhilarating. In their personal relationships, they demonstrate loyalty and provide support. They value those who support their own endeavours and fiercely defend vulnerable friends. When it comes to romantic relationships, individuals with an orange aura possess a unique sexual energy. Their heightened awareness of their physical bodies makes them passionate lovers. However, their penchant for seeking thrills may cause them to rush into relationships and lose sight of what truly matters. Spiritual Significance of an Orange Aura From a spiritual perspective, orange auras embody intuitive energy that opens individuals up to positive change, rejuvenation, and renewal. They possess personal power that often inspires those around them, despite their daredevil nature. Orange aura energy is vibrant and positive, enabling individuals to objectively perceive situations through their intuitive abilities. However, there are challenges associated with having an orange aura. Individuals with an orange aura tend to dive headfirst into situations without considering the consequences, leading to burnout and regret as they hastily pursue projects, relationships, and experiences. Understanding Different Shades of Orange Auras While orange is generally associated with playfulness and passion, the specific shade of orange in one's aura can vary, each carrying its own significance. Peach Aura Meaning A peach-coloured aura indicates communicativeness and openness. Individuals with a peach aura are often found surrounding public speakers, writers, and teachers. This shade represents the most inspirational aspect of orange, allowing those with a peach aura to clearly convey their ideas. Burnt Orange Aura Meaning A burnt orange aura suggests a need for change. Individuals with a burnt orange aura tend to be highly ambitious, but the brown tones in this aura signify a negative energy. Rather than feeling inspired and passionate, those with a burnt orange aura may experience a lack of energy and a feeling of being stuck in a rut. Pumpkin Aura Meaning A rich pumpkin-coloured aura signifies an eye for detail and self-discipline. Individuals with pumpkin tones in their aura excel at taking on new challenges and make excellent employees. They are hardworking, enthusiastic, and loyal. Tangerine Shades of tangerine within the auric field indicate individuals with a strong sense of their life goals and how to achieve them. They generally possess a charismatic personality, serving as role models and displaying ambition. Yellow Orange Aura Meaning People with a yellow-orange aura have a high vibration and abundant energy. They enjoy physical activities and have a strong sense of adventure in life. However, they may sometimes engage in risky behaviours due to their attraction to adrenaline-inducing activities. If not managed properly, this can lead to the development of addictive tendencies. The Orange Aura and Chakras Understanding which of the seven chakras your aura relates to can enhance the comprehension of your aura. The colour orange is associated with the sacral chakra, the second energy centre in the body's seven-chakra system. The sacral chakra is located just below the navel and is connected to creative and sexual energies—characteristics prominently exhibited by individuals with a bright orange aura. Sensuality, pleasure, and intimacy are strongly linked to the sacral chakra. When this chakra is out of balance, individuals may experience emotional instability, a lack of inspiration, or diminished creativity. Engaging in self-care practices and specific yoga poses targeting the hips and pelvis can help unblock the sacral chakra, leading to a stronger connection with one's body. • Red Aura Meaning: Understanding the Symbolism and Personality

The colour red symbolizes passion, sexuality, and at times, aggression. When someone's aura radiates a glowing red colour, it suggests they are going through a period of intense passion and emotions in their life, possibly embarking on a new project or entering a new relationship. With the abundance of emotional energy that accompanies a red aura, individuals may tend to act impulsively and become easily angered. It is crucial to learn how to harness the energy of a red aura, gain control over emotions and channel the power towards creativity rather than destruction. Understanding the Diversity of Aura Colors The colour of our aura is determined by the vibrational frequency we emit. The shade observed in an aura can be interpreted as an indication of a person's emotional and physical state at that particular time in their life. For instance, an orange aura signifies self-control, ambition, and courage, while a blue aura represents communication, sensitivity, loyalty, and a yellow aura implies optimism and happiness. However, this does not mean that a person emitting a yellow aura is immune to feelings of sadness or moments of depression. Instead, such emotions do not linger enough to affect their dominant state of mind. By becoming aware of our current emotional states, we can employ practices like meditation to alter our active aura colour, promoting spiritual and emotional well-being. Exploring the Red Aura A red aura refers to the energy field surrounding an individual, primarily displaying a red colour. It is believed that the aura serves as an extension of the physical body, providing insights into a person's physical, emotional, and spiritual condition. The colour red is often associated with physical strength, vitality, and a strong sense of self. A red aura may indicate a robust physical body, high levels of energy, and a determined will. It is commonly observed in athletes, individuals engaged in physical activities, and those who possess a relentless drive to achieve their goals. The vibrational frequency of a red aura is considered high, representing a vigorous life force energy and a healthy immune system. However, a red aura can also signal stress, anxiety, or anger. It is important to note that the colour of an aura can change based on a person's emotional and physical state. Maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle is crucial for the well-being of the aura, and paying attention to its colour can provide insights into one's overall health and prompt actions to enhance physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Personality Traits of a Red Aura Individuals emitting bright red energy in their aura are typically active, passionate, and occasionally aggressive. They become deeply involved in their work and often extend their working hours. Such personalities fearlessly speak out against injustice and take action when necessary. People with red auras possess a natural ability to lead, as they express their thoughts truthfully without holding back. However, the passionate and intense energy associated with red can lead individuals to become excessively absorbed in their work or projects, potentially resulting in burnout and emotional attachment to a job or situation. The Spiritual Significance of a Red Aura The spiritual meaning of a red aura stems from its connection to the fire, which represents transformation, purification, and regeneration. Fire also symbolizes love, warmth, and protection. The fiery nature of red auras makes them ideal for individuals seeking physical, emotional, and spiritual transformation. However, with passion comes the tendency toward anger, which needs to be managed effectively. Rather than allowing anger to manifest in destructive ways, it is essential to find outlets that channel this energy toward cultivating positive emotions, embracing strength and confidence, and surrounding oneself with compatible energy. Interpreting Different Shades of Red Auras The red colour spectrum within an aura can have various interpretations, depending on the shade and its associated meanings. The followings are the most common types of red auras and their implications: Murky Red Aura Meaning Individuals with a murky red aura strongly adhere to their beliefs and dislike being influenced by others' opinions. They may become angry when confronted with disagreement. This type of red aura often emerges during stressful situations like arguments, and it may indicate a lack of confidence. People struggling with low self-esteem tend to get defensive over minor issues. Angry individuals with a bullying nature emit a murky red aura overwhelmed by negative emotions. Bright Red Aura Meaning A bright red aura signifies more intense energy and a strong sense of purpose and direction. It may indicate a desire for attention and stimulation. People with bright red aura are highly energetic, enthusiastic, and charismatic. They thrive on being occupied and enjoy taking on challenges. Their clarity of goals and determination often make them effective leaders. Dark Red Aura Meaning A darker shade of red in one's aura reflects strong attachments to issues like money, power, status, and control. Such individuals quickly become angry when these matters come into play due to their deep emotional investment. They often struggle in relationships, finding it difficult to let go of past hurts and disappointments. Consequently, they become possessive and jealous, holding onto their emotions for extended periods and may impulsively express their anger. Balancing a Red Aura Achieving balance in a red aura involves promoting harmonious energy flow throughout the body. Practices like meditation, yoga, and reiki can help balance the red aura and foster a sense of overall well-being. These practices aid in releasing tension, stress, and negative emotions, allowing positive energy to flow freely. Individuals with a red aura can benefit from engaging in physical activities that align with their adventurous nature, such as hiking, rock climbing, or dancing. These activities help ground the energy and release excess tension from the body. In romantic relationships, it is beneficial for individuals with a red aura to seek partners who share their active and adventurous spirit. Striking a balance between physical activity and emotional connection by engaging in deep conversations and intimate moments can help harmonize the red aura. Red Aura and the Root Chakra A red aura is associated with the root chakra, also known as the Muladhara, which is the first chakra in the subtle body. Located at the perineum, the root chakra serves as the foundation and anchors an individual in the physical world. When the root chakra is unblocked and clear, one feels grounded and stable in their body. An imbalance in this chakra can impact physical health and weaken the immune system. Balancing the root chakra can be achieved through grounding meditation or chakra meditation, which restores the correct flow of energy that may have been obstructed. Our Chakra activation course combines Solfeggio frequencies with guided meditation, focusing on each of the seven chakras. • Pink Aura Meaning: Pink Chakra & Personality Traits

The colour pink is considered one of the rarest aura colours, only manifesting in individuals who are deeply in touch with their inner feminine energy, seeking a nurturing environment, and embracing love in all its forms. It is a spiritual energy that resonates with sensitivity, care, and empathy. People with a pink aura are renowned for their intuitive abilities, strong moral values, and unwavering loyalty. However, their innocent and gentle nature can sometimes be mistaken for naivety. What Causes an Aura to Turn Pink? A person's primary aura colour reflects their personality and current emotional state. Therefore, the vibrational level of their auric energy field can be influenced by their environment and thought patterns. Embracing feminine energy is the key to developing a pink aura, which involves a profound desire to nurture, love, and unconditionally care for those around them. It is important to note that a pink aura is not exclusive to women, as anyone, regardless of gender, can embrace and harness feminine energy. Personality Traits of a Pink Aura Individuals with a pink aura are natural romantics who fearlessly express their emotions and demonstrate care. They are often known for their generosity and compassion, readily extending a helping hand to those in need. As a result, they tend to be well-liked and attractive. Despite their calm and soft-spoken demeanour, their feminine nature does not diminish their internal strength. Pink aura individuals are often highly motivated and strive to make a significant difference in the world by becoming the best versions of themselves. The Spiritual Significance of a Pink Aura Many spiritual practices emphasize the importance of unconditional love and living in harmony with nature. Following a spiritual path centred around love and acceptance can influence the dominant colour of your aura. To develop a pink aura, it is crucial to embrace your childlike sense of wonder and innocence. A pink aura signifies strength and wisdom, as individuals with this aura can rise above negative energy and embrace compassion and love. Understanding Different Shades of Pink Aura Even if you have a dominant aura colour, the exact shade of that colour can vary depending on your emotions. It is also possible to have different shades within your aura. For instance, a predominantly green aura can still contain hints of blue and pink, which may become more prominent as your aura fluctuates. Aura colours are not fixed; they constantly change to reflect your current emotional state. Baby Pink Aura Meaning This brighter shade of pink signifies individuals with a bubbly personality, a warm heart, and an embracing sense of optimism. People with a baby-pink aura often have a mystical inclination and exude fairy-like energy. They are playful, innocent, and enjoy a zest for life. Bright Pink Aura Meaning A bright pink aura meaning indicates individuals who have fully embraced their feminine energy. They possess strong intuition in their daily lives and have a compelling urge to nurture others. These individuals have open minds and are often extroverted and charismatic. Soft Pink Aura Meaning This is a subtler shade of baby pink but still radiates vitality and energy. Individuals with a soft pink aura may not have fully embraced their femininity but are still willing to extend love, care, and compassion to others. Dark Pink Aura Meaning A darker shade of pink may signify feelings of blockage or repression. These individuals may have experienced challenging situations and struggled with self-doubt and depression. The intensity of the pink colour corresponds to the intensity of these emotions. The Pink Aura and Chakra Connection Even though each of the seven primary chakras in your aura has its own unique color representing its energy, certain chakra colors can originate from multiple chakras, and the strength of the chakras can result in different wavelengths and frequencies being emitted. The color pink is associated with the Heart, Third Eye, and Crown chakras. However, the interpretation of seeing pink in the aura or around a chakra energy centre depends on the context. Let's explore the more common meanings. The Pink-Heart Chakra Typically, the Heart chakra is associated with green colors and wavelengths, but it can emit pink wavelengths under certain circumstances. These pink shades are usually soft, resembling pastel or baby pink. One common reason for the Heart chakra appearing pink instead of green is falling in love. Some spiritual teachers suggest that this energy represents a combination of the Crown and Root chakras, symbolizing the physical and metaphysical need for love. Others view it as an awakening of the divine feminine driven by spiritual energy. If the pink chakra color seems to extend into the aura from the chest or upper torso, it likely originates from the Heart chakra. Deep Pink - Third Eye Chakra Although the Third Eye chakra is typically associated with deep purples and blues, deep pinks can also manifest from this sixth energy center. The deep pink color is most likely to appear when engaging in direct experiences such as communicating with departed loved ones or discussing living loved ones. It can also occur during the process of teaching younger family members about life and the world. The presence of deep pinks extending from your Third Eye chakra is often associated with the selfless act of imparting wisdom and love. Light & Bright Pink - Crown Chakra A pattern begins to emerge, as pink hues tend to be related to love when it comes to the higher chakras. The Crown chakra primarily deals with a specific kind of love. While it is usually concerned with the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment, deep meditation, and transitions to higher consciousness levels, it also encompasses unconditional, universal love that embraces all of creation. When experiencing universal love, the Crown chakra can radiate a bright, almost violet-pink color. This might occur during meditation or after connecting with spirit guides. Hence, the pink chakra color holds different meanings based on its originating chakra. It's important to note that many people have experienced the pink chakra color in ways not covered here, as love manifests in various forms and shades. Methods to Balance the Pink Chakra There are several effective ways to balance the pink chakra. Consider the following: Practice self-love and show compassion towards yourself. Spend time with loved ones, animals, or in nature. Treat yourself with kindness and affection. Express your emotions freely. Listen to your heart and trust your intuition. Meditate on the color pink. Incorporate pink clothing or jewellery into your attire. Utilize pink crystals such as rose quartz or rhodonite. Enjoy green tea or consume berries. These practices can help restore balance to the pink chakra and promote a harmonious energy flow within. • White Aura Meaning : Traits, and Spiritual Significance

The aura is the term used to describe the energy field that encompasses the human body. It varies in color depending on a person's mental, emotional, and physical states. A white aura is the rarest and signifies a divine connection to the higher self. Individuals with a white aura are highly sensitive to others' needs and can easily sense when they are being mistreated. What Causes an Aura to Turn White? The color of an aura is influenced by the vibrational level of one's chakras. For example, if a person is most attuned to their heart chakra, they will generate a green aura. In the light spectrum, white is not technically a color but a combination of all colors. In an aura, white energy is produced when someone has achieved full integration and balance of all their chakras, living in perfect harmony with their higher selves and universal consciousness. Personality Traits of the White Aura While not traditionally considered empaths, individuals with a white aura possess a great deal of empathy and are naturally drawn to those in need. They have an inherent ability to sense when something is wrong or someone is struggling. However, their innocence and desire to do good can make them vulnerable to deception. Many people with a white aura have been manipulated due to their unrelenting desire to help others. Compassion and selflessness are qualities commonly associated with both white and indigo auras. Interacting with a White Aura Due to their inclination to see the good in everything, individuals with a white aura can be naive to others' true intentions. They may be easily taken advantage of through manipulative behaviour or dishonesty. Their strong spiritual connection can sometimes make it challenging for them to grasp reality, leading to tendencies of being overly judgmental and close-minded. Nonetheless, the white aura radiates purity, repelling negative energies. Those with a white aura make excellent friends and lifelong partners, but their primary devotion will always be to their divine calling of helping both humans and animals. Love and Friendship with White Aura Individuals Establishing friendship and love with white aura individuals is generally easy as long as you support their moralistic views and refrain from engaging in what is considered harmful. They are loyal friends who are always there to provide assistance. However, those with many flaws may feel judged or unworthy when around them. Whites often possess a transcendent worldview, feeling a deep responsibility to a higher power, which may create frustration for partners who do not share the same beliefs. It is crucial to approach relationships with white aura individuals as a package deal, understanding their intrinsic nature and acting accordingly. White Aura People in the Workplace, Career, and Professional Lives People with white auras thrive in jobs that involve social interaction or benefit others. If their career lacks these traits, they may struggle to find fulfilment as their thoughts often wander. You can often find them in animal rescue organizations, charity work, nursing, therapy, and various occupations where their innate qualities can shine through. They are generally reliable and rarely cause problems in the workplace. However, their dedication to helping others may lead them to sacrifice their jobs for a greater cause. Interacting with a White Aura Person White-aura individuals may come across as feeling superior to others, potentially making others feel guilty or judged. However, this stems from their inherent need to bring positive change to the world. While they may not engage in small talk, they value deep and meaningful conversations that offer insights and knowledge. Despite perceived difficulties, white aura people are trustworthy, loyal, and possess a strong moral code. The Spiritual Meaning of a White Aura A white aura meaning spiritually signifies that a person has reached a high spiritual level, achieving enlightenment and perfect harmony with the universe. It reflects transcending earthly desires and finding contentment from within. Once a white aura is achieved, psychic abilities such as energy healing, remote viewing, and seeing auras may develop. Understanding White Aura Shades Auras can change shades based on a person's thoughts, feelings, actions, and responses to the world. A white aura is not a specific shade but a blend of all colors. However, the shade may vary depending on the person's spiritual development. White and Purple Aura A purple aura emerges when someone fully opens their crown chakra, initiating a spiritual awakening. As they align their other chakras, the aura transitions from purple to white. Bright White Bright white represents a pure and divine connection to the universe. It is a rare and radiant color achieved after intense spiritual development and enlightenment. Murky White A white aura showing darker shades may indicate moments of doubt or fear. The person might struggle to find their personal sense of self and purpose in life. How to Enhance a White Aura The high level of spirituality, purity, and connection to the divine associated with a white aura requires constant nurturing and dedication. To enhance a white aura, several steps can be taken: Mindfulness and Meditation: Practicing mindfulness and meditation can help balance energy and create a positive and harmonious aura. Visualizing chakras during meditation can aid in enhancing the white aura. Laughter: Cultivating a sense of humour can release negative energy and foster a positive and joyful aura, aligning with the lightness and joy that a white aura represents. Connection to the Divine: Engaging in prayer, meditation, or spending time in nature can foster a connection to a higher power, allowing individuals to tap into the creative energy that flows through all things and create a more powerful and radiant aura. Unleashing Creative Energy: White aura individuals often express their creativity through art, music, or other forms of creative expression. Embracing creativity can unlock spiritual potential and create a more radiant aura. Enhancing a white aura involves a holistic approach that focuses on the energy field, sense of humour, connection to divinity, and creative energy. By dedicating attention to these areas, individuals can develop a powerful and radiant aura that reflects their deep spiritual connection and positive energy. The White Aura Chakra Since the crown chakra resides at the top of the head or slightly above, individuals with a white aura are naturally drawn to the realm of higher spirituality. They feel a strong inclination towards consciousness, connecting with a higher power, attaining wisdom, self-realization, being present, and cultivating self-awareness. The white aura is particularly associated with the healing arts, although not in the conventional sense. Being a reflective aura, white has the ability to repel negative energy and ward off negative auras merely through its presence. People with a white aura possess a protective nature, instinctively defending the weak or vulnerable against both real and perceived threats. A solid white aura appears bright and radiant, symbolizing innocence, generosity, wisdom, and an inherent resistance to corruption. It also represents the capacity for healing, a divine connection, and an elevated state of consciousness. However, if the white aura appears dark or murky, it may suggest naivety and a tendency toward self-sacrifice. • Explore Your Intuition Ajna Chakra - Third Eye Chakra

The third eye chakra, known as the sixth of the seven major chakras, serves as a gateway to higher consciousness and is responsible for awakening and regulating spiritual energy. It grants perception beyond ordinary sight. The Ajna chakra also referred to as the "Command" or "Perceiving" Center, is where we transcend the duality of a separate personal identity and recognize our interconnectedness with the world. Located on the forehead between the eyebrows, it is the centre of intuition and foresight. The frequency of the Ajna chakra aids in the awakening of intuition and aligning with spiritual harmony, thereby assisting in the healing of headaches and migraines. This chakra's energy is also associated with the well-being of the eyes, nose, and throat (ENT), as it is directly connected to the pituitary and pineal glands. The seed mantra for this chakra is "OM," and its sound is represented by the note "A" or the sound "Om" at a frequency of 426.7Hz. The element associated with the Ajna chakra is light. This chakra perceives through pure seeing and witnessing, transcending ordinary perception. It also serves as the seat of conscience, understanding the deeper meaning of what is seen in the light of the soul. Anatomically, the Ajna chakra relates to the brain, forehead, brow, pituitary and pineal glands, eyes, nose, and the carotid nerve plexus. The third eye chakra acts as a confluence point where the three energy channels (nadis) - ida, pingala, and sushumna - merge into one stream of consciousness, flowing up to the crown chakra. The merging of these channels facilitates the transformation of individual consciousness. It is also known as the seat of the "inner Guru" or teacher, the source of inner guidance. It functions as the "eye of intuition," allowing access to the astral and psychic realms of consciousness, where one receives revelations and insights. Psychological and behavioural characteristics associated with this chakra include vision, intuition, perception of subtle energies, psychic abilities, access to mystical states, connection to wisdom, and motivation for inspiration and creativity. Characteristics of the Third Eye Chakra: The foundation of Wisdom: The third eye chakra serves as a foundation for cultivating inner knowledge, and inspiration, and discovering one's true life purpose. Intuitive Nature: This chakra is dedicated to enhancing intuition and strengthening psychic awareness. It works in harmony with the rational mind, deepening intuitive insights and allowing one to see beyond illusions. Opening of Ajna Chakra: The third eye chakra, associated with vision and intuition, opens up pathways for perceiving subtle energy movements and gaining clearer insight. Trusting Your Instincts: This chakra establishes a strong connection to personal insight and wisdom, motivating creativity and inspiration. Fearless Perspective on Death: Maintaining awareness of the third eye chakra involves focus and the ability to relax into a new way of perceiving. By concentrating on the mind and consciousness, one can transcend illusions and distractions that hinder true understanding. Where Is Third Eye Chakra Located? The Ajna chakra, also known as the third eye chakra, is situated between the eyebrows, slightly above the bridge of the nose. It can be visualized at the point where the inner eyebrows would meet if extended. Alternatively, it can be perceived as being positioned behind the eyes in the middle of the head. It's worth noting that secondary chakras run along the midline of the forehead, but the third eye chakra typically resides in a lower location. From an anatomical standpoint, the Ajna chakra is located in the pituitary gland, directly situated behind the centre of the forehead. The third eye chakra is closely associated with the pineal gland, which is responsible for regulating biorhythms, including sleep and wake patterns. The pineal gland, located in the brain, attracts significant attention due to its connection with light perception and its influence on mystical states of consciousness. Positioned near the optical nerves, it is sensitive to visual stimuli and changes in lighting. The Color of Third Eye Chakra The third eye chakra is symbolized by the colour indigo. However, the aura energy emitted from this chakra can also appear as a translucent shade of purple or bluish-white. When observing this colour: Clarity of the Senses: It brings clarity and heightened awareness to the sense organs, enhancing your ability to see, hear, and feel. Connection to the Sixth Sense: Indigo colour is closely associated with your sixth sense, which aligns with the same location as your third eye. Bridging Heaven and Earth: The third eye chakra acts as a bridge between the realms of heaven and earth. It facilitates transitions between life and death, guiding the journey of the soul. Symbolic Thinking: Indigo represents the energy of symbolic thinking. It allows for the interpretation and understanding of deeper meanings and messages beyond the literal. Transformation of Energy: Indigo enables the transformation of energies originating from the lower chakras into higher spiritual vibrations, promoting spiritual growth and enlightenment. The Symbol of Third Eye Chakra The symbol of the Third Eye Chakra is a purple lotus with two petals, encompassing a downward-pointing triangle. Within the triangle, the sacred symbol of OM is featured. The Two Petals: These two petals symbolize the final duality that remains—the interplay between the Self and the Divine. The Round Circle: It represents the emptiness or void that exists within the lotus petals, signifying the potential for inner transformation. The Downward-Pointing Triangle: This inverted triangle represents Shakti, the feminine creative power, while above it rests a Shivalingam, representing Shiva, the masculine aspect of consciousness. The OM Symbol: It signifies the ultimate reality, consciousness, and the soul (Atman). It represents the profound connection to the divine essence within oneself. In summary, the Third Eye Chakra symbol embodies the harmonious union of the Self and the Divine, with the lotus petals, the downward-pointing triangle, and the OM symbol representing various aspects of spiritual realization and transcendence. Characteristics of Balanced Third Eye Chakra A harmoniously balanced third eye chakra exhibits heightened intuition and an expanded perception that goes beyond ordinary sight. It enables an individual to see and perceive things in a different, profound manner. While our physical eyes perceive the material world, a balanced Ajna chakra allows us to delve into deeper realms. It opens pathways to intuition, clairvoyance, imagination, creativity, and visualization. Those with a well-balanced Ajna chakra possess enhanced intuition, a firm sense of identity, and the capacity for introspection and self-reflection. Characteristics of Imbalanced Third Eye Chakra An imbalanced sixth chakra can manifest in different ways, either leaning towards excessive conceptualization, analysis, and rigidity, or towards mental frailty and fluidity. Here are some common symptoms associated with an unbalanced sixth chakra: Fear of Trusting Others, Confusion, Negative Beliefs, Lack of Responsibility, Headaches and Migraines, Learning Disabilities, Closed-mindedness, Mental Rigidity, Emotional Disconnect, Eye and Ear Problems, Nose and Sinus Issues and Nausea. An imbalance within a chakra can be observed in relation to its under-activity or overactivity. Underactive or Blocked Third Eye Chakra When the flow of Prana in the third eye chakra slows down, it indicates under-activity or a closed state of the chakra. In such cases: Difficulty in Understanding Spiritual Connections: It becomes challenging to comprehend and perceive spiritual connections and the deeper meaning behind experiences. Lack of Spiritual Perception: Connecting and recognizing the spiritual aspects of things becomes difficult, hindering the ability to see how events and circumstances are spiritually related. Imbalance with the Body and its Commands: There is a struggle to achieve harmony and alignment between the physical body and its needs and desires. Confusion and Disconnection: One may experience a sense of confusion and disconnection, relying excessively on personal beliefs and being closed off to new energy and perspectives. Feeling Stuck and Limited: The individual may feel stuck, unable to look beyond problems and challenges, and lacking the vision and clarity needed for deeper understanding and resolution. Overactive Third Eye Chakra When the Prana in the third eye chakra spins at an accelerated pace, it indicates an overactive state. In the case of an overactive third-eye chakra: Over-Intellectual Thinking: There is a tendency to be excessively focused on intellectual analysis and reasoning, relying heavily on logic and the mind. Judgmental and Unsympathetic: One may become overly critical, judgmental, and lacking empathy towards others, prioritizing logical reasoning over understanding and compassion. Creation of False Mental Scenarios: There is a tendency to create imaginary circumstances and scenarios within the mind that are not reflective of reality. Misinterpretation of Spiritual Information: Spiritual information and experiences may be misinterpreted through the lens of logic and what seems rational, missing the deeper spiritual meaning and essence. Excessive Fantasizing and Stress: Excessive fantasizing can lead to heightened anxiety and stress, as the mind becomes preoccupied with unrealistic thoughts and expectations. What causes the Third Eye Chakra imbalance? When stress, illness, emotional disturbances, or conflicts arise, an imbalance can occur within the chakra system. Since the seven chakras are interconnected, any imbalance in one chakra can affect the others as well. In the case of an imbalanced third eye chakra, two extremes may arise. One extreme involves being consumed by negativity in reality, leading to feelings of depression. The other extreme involves becoming lost in fantasies and experiencing a sense of disillusionment. The following are key causes of an imbalanced third eye chakra: Lack of faith in one's purpose Feelings of pointlessness or meaninglessness Indecisiveness Perceiving one's work or life as insignificant How to Balance Third Eye Chakra? To initiate the healing process of the Ajna Chakra, it is important to address it indirectly by addressing the psychological issues associated with the lower chakras first. When concerns, anxieties, and emotional fluctuations cease to project themselves onto the sixth chakra, the mind naturally becomes clearer and more lucid. By attending to and resolving these underlying issues, the healing of the Ajna Chakra can begin. Practice Meditation with Mantra and Mudras To achieve balance in the third eye chakra, a simple yet effective practice involves using hand mudras, such as the Hakini Mudra, while directing your awareness to the area of the third eye chakra, located between your eyebrows. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to perform meditation with Hakini Mudra: Find a comfortable seated position with your spine straight. Close your eyes and bring your focus to the Third Eye Chakra, which is situated between the eyebrows. Bring your hands in front of your heart, and join all your fingertips together. Slowly lower your hands in front of your pelvis, with your fingers pointing towards the floor. Maintain this mudra for as long as desired. Bonus Tip: For those who are more advanced, the Hakini hand gesture can be combined with the Khechari mudra. This advanced mudra involves curling the tongue and bringing it above the soft palate and into the nasal cavity. However, please note that this practice is best undertaken under the guidance of a knowledgeable teacher and is not recommended for beginners. It is suggested to practice Hakini Mudra for up to 30 minutes every day. If desired, you can divide the practice into multiple sessions throughout the day. For optimal results, it is recommended to practice this mudra in the morning and evening for at least two weeks. Remember to listen to your body and adjust the duration of the practice according to your comfort level. Consistency and patience are key to experiencing the benefits of this mudra. • Speak your truth - Vishuddha Chakra (Throat Chakra)

By utilizing the art of self-expression, individuals can share their thoughts, emotions, and imaginative ideas with others, making the world a more beautiful place. This process relies on the throat, which serves as the conduit for communication, hearing, and vision within our physical bodies. In the realm of the subtle body, the throat chakra represents the energetic manifestation associated with the throat. The throat chakra, also known as Vishuddha, is the fifth primary chakra when considering the ascending order from the base of the spine to the crown of the head in a series of seven chakras. Situated at the base of the subtle body's throat, the throat chakra is closely tied to the expression of creativity through sound. Its primary function is to convey authentic truths originating from the soul. Additionally, it serves as the centre for communication, speech, and the regulation of hearing and listening. The Sanskrit term Vishuddha translates to "Purest," indicating that this chakra represents purity on both physical and mental levels. Alternative names for the throat chakra include Kantha, Kantha-desha, Kantha-padma, Kantha-pankaja, shodasha, and kanthambhoja. The element associated with this chakra is ether/akasha, which serves as a channel for transmitting the vibrations of mantras. The energy emanating from the throat chakra generates the voice within the body. It functions as a pressure valve, allowing energy to flow from one chakra to the next. The sacred resonance of the throat chakra serves as a conduit for the self-generating power of expression, leading to enhanced communication abilities. Seed Mantra (Bijaakshara): HAM Frequency: 384 Hz HAM is the mantra that unlocks the throat chakra, defining our physical and spiritual voices. It enables us to communicate "who we are" and express our needs and desires to both ourselves and the universe. [/alert-success] The Throat Chakra is associated with the element of Ether/Spirit/Life and Sound. This element represents the level of psychology and mind, and it is linked to transformation, unification, power, and the concept of time. When we speak or vocalize through the throat, the sound travels through the air, creating vibrations that can be felt not only in our ears but also throughout our entire body. The throat chakra is connected to various psychological and behavioural characteristics, including: Expression: It influences our ability to express ourselves and speak our truth. Communication skills: These govern our capacity to effectively convey our thoughts and ideas. Connection with the etheric realm or soul: It enables us to tap into our spiritual essence and higher consciousness. Realization of life purpose: It assists us in discovering and understanding our unique mission in life. Sense of timing and connectivity: It helps us develop a keen sense of timing and establish meaningful connections with others. Where Is Throat Chakra Located? Situated in the centre of the neck, above the collarbone, this chakra serves as a vital bridge for energy flow between the lower body and the head. Its primary functions revolve around expression and communication. This chakra corresponds to the laryngeal nerve. The Throat chakra is connected to the pharyngeal and brachial plexus and is associated with various body organs such as the mouth, jaws, tongue, pharynx, and palate. Additionally, it maintains connections with the shoulders and the neck. The glands associated with this chakra are the thyroid glands. The thyroid regulates energy processing within the body, including functions related to temperature regulation, growth, and a significant portion of metabolism. The Color of Throat Chakra Within our spectrum of colours, Blue holds the position of being the initial primary colour. It serves as a bridge connecting us to the Divine, and it is also commonly associated with Heaven. The energy of Blue is characterized by its purity, soothing nature, and healing properties. It resides at the cooler end of the colour spectrum, inviting us to embrace moments of stillness and tranquillity. On a physical anatomical level, the colour Blue is closely linked to various parts of the body. These include the throat, oesophagus, thyroid gland, neck, cervical spine, mouth, teeth, and jaw. The Symbol of Throat Chakra Situated between the head and the heart, the throat chakra serves as a bridge that connects feelings and thoughts. Its symbol is often depicted in various shades of radiant blue, representing wisdom, faith, purification, and trust. The symbol consists of a circle enclosed within a descending triangle. The throat chakra symbol contains 16 petals, each associated with one of the Sanskrit vowels and a corresponding mantra. These petals represent the blossoming and development of human consciousness, akin to the growth of a lotus flower. The central region of the chakra symbol is depicted as a white, transparent, sky-blue circle, representing purity and cosmic sound, known as "nadam." It symbolizes the full moon and points to our inherent psychic powers. The downward-pointing triangle in the throat chakra symbol signifies the akasamandala, symbolizing spiritual growth and the accumulation of knowledge. The wide, upward sides of the triangle represent the path to enlightenment. An element of the throat chakra symbol is the white elephant, known as Airavata in Hindu mythology. Airavata is associated with the sound mantra and is the mount of Indra, the god of thunder. The white elephant symbolizes strength, prosperity, and luck. Characteristics of Balanced Throat Chakra When the Throat chakra is in a state of balance, one possesses the ability to effectively express their thoughts and desires in a harmonious relationship with the heart chakra and the mind. The energy emanating from the balanced Vishuddha chakra flows upward from the sacral chakra through the solar plexus, enabling the free expression of one's values and needs within their energetic being. In a balanced state, individuals exhibit the following qualities and live in harmony: Openly express feelings and thoughts. Embrace a creative way of living. Possess good timing and communication skills. Engage in imaginative and impactful speech. Trust their inner guidance and intuition. Share knowledge openly. A rhythmic and resonant voice, characterized by clear and precise expression, symbolizes the balanced state of the fifth chakra. It signifies one's ability to make decisions and follow their dreams. Characteristics of Imbalanced Throat Chakra When the throat chakra is imbalanced, it can manifest in various physical symptoms such as a sore throat, a tense jaw, a stiff neck, and frequent headaches. On a spiritual level, an imbalanced throat chakra can lead to a tendency to lie, feelings of fear and doubt towards others' intentions, or experiencing difficulty in speaking clearly and confidently. This may result in a sense of isolation and being misunderstood. A blocked throat chakra can significantly impact communication by causing confusion and a lack of clarity in one's mindset. This can lead to timidity, a fear of speaking up, and occasionally manipulative behaviour. Rather than expressing oneself openly and honestly from the heart, one may resort to half-truths and untruths as a means of suppressing inner dissatisfaction. The suppression of creative impulses is another consequence of a blocked fifth chakra. Ideas may struggle to flow to the lower chakras where they can be transformed into reality. Other features associated with an imbalanced throat chakra include: Fear of speaking up Difficulty expressing feelings in words Shyness, quietness, and withdrawal Feeling disconnected from personal desires Lack of trust in intuitive abilities Specific imbalances in communication related to the throat chakra can include talking excessively, using talking as a defence mechanism, having a dominating voice, difficulty in active listening, and an overwhelming need to appear strong at all costs. In terms of physical imbalances, an imbalanced throat chakra may manifest as symptoms such as cold-like symptoms, a tickle or excess phlegm in the throat, coughing, increased stress levels, hyperactivity, allergies, goitre-related signs, a stuffy or runny nose, and fatigue. Underactive or Blocked Throat Chakra During the underactive phase of the throat chakra, individuals may speak in a whisper or timid voice and experience stammering. They find it challenging to initiate conversations and struggle to find the right words when speaking. When the Vishuddha Chakra is underactive, the following characteristics may be observed: Difficulty expressing feelings and emotions. Feeling shy and timid. Inability to initiate conversations and a belief that they don't have the right to ask questions. Feeling undervalued and struggling to express their own feelings. Difficulty in being truthful and honest with oneself. Overactive Throat Chakra During the overactive phase of the throat chakra, an individual may exhibit behaviours such as yelling and dominating others in conversations, preventing them from speaking or being heard. Their voice may become loud and shrill, and they tend to become judgmental by excessively analyzing things. When the Vishuddha Chakra is overactive, the following characteristics may be observed: Loud and dominant voice. Frequently interrupting ongoing conversations. Being overly opinionated and critical of others. Struggling to listen attentively and instead intellectualizing situations to avoid vulnerability. Engaging in compulsive lying and gossiping. Failing to honour their own words by being unable to fulfil commitments and promises. What causes the Throat Chakra imbalance? The throat chakra can be harmed by behaviours and substances that pass through it, such as lying, gossip, alcohol, smoking, drugs, and overeating. How to Balance Throat Chakra? Practice Meditation with Mantra and Mudras To balance the throat chakra, a simple yet effective practice involves using hand mudras like Vishuddha Mudra or Akasha Mudra, Udana Vayu Mudra, or Svasa Mudra while directing your awareness to the throat chakra. Meditation with Vishuddha Mudra: Find a quiet place and sit with your back straight, either on the floor or in a chair. Place your hands in front of you, crossing your fingers on the inside of your hands, excluding the thumbs. Allow the thumbs to touch at the tops and slightly lift them up. Focus your attention on the throat chakra located at the base of your throat. Chant the mantra "HAM" while maintaining this hand mudra. Continue the practice for about 10 minutes, observing the awakening sensation in the Vishuddha Chakra. You can adjust the practice sequence based on the time you have available.
